At least by January 2014 the Obama administration knew that a large number of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) were headed our way. Its prediction was 65,000 and we now know it is bigger. Continue reading “UAC wave was known”
Using the sensational terms “refugee” and “illegal immigrant” to describe the flood of unaccompanied children walking into Texas is disingenuous. It’s time to stop the dishonest discourse. Continue reading “Illegal aliens are not refugees or illegal immigrants”
The Conflater in Chief a/k/a President Obama continues to foist confusion on the public in every speech about immigration. He never talks about the border as a problem as in border security, but conflates “immigration reform” with doing something about the flood of people crossing our border from the South. Why am I writing about this? We’ll see. Continue reading “Conflater in Chief — it’s the border stupid”
Please, chill the impeachment rhetoric! Sarah (be clear, I like her plain-spoken manner) and others do no good for either the GOP or the political narrative of today. Yes, Obama is an incompetent president and proves it daily. Continue reading “Incompetence and The Impeachment Delusion”
[no_toc]Widespread interest exists in the Arizona law known as “S.B. 1070” which may be about to get to the US Supreme Court. The constitutional question is one of federal implied preemption. Of course, this interest is acute in Texas and the Southwest but I would think that states formerly thinking they were immune from the problems of illegal immigration now realize that it’s everywhere. Otherwise why are there protests in Minneapolis against the law? Continue reading “All you ever wanted to know about federal implied preemption but were afraid to ask”
The feds have finally protected our borders. Thousands of people have been approached for identification which resulted in their arrest for being in the U.S. illegally. On television tonight one saw the cuffs going on and the paddy-wagon being loaded.
Meanwhile, human rights violations are being purged.
Only a few problems with this scenario. The illegal immigrants are being caught at the Canadian border with the U.S. while the human rights violations are those imagined by Secretary of State Hilary Clinton (who’s reported it to the United Nations) in the sovereign State of Arizona where the State is trying to stop the dangerous illegal immigrants crossing from the border with Mexico — where the feds won’t do it! I guess they’re too busy protecting us from French Canadians. Good thing. French is harder to learn than is Spanish.
Speaking of the border with Mexico. Remember the mass grave with 72 bodies found? Of 31 who had initially been identified, NONE were from Mexico. They weren’t from Canada either. Try Guatemala, Honduras, and other countries.
I’m trying to quit posting provocative stuff, really, but here is something to think about. Continue reading “What do these people think of our country?”
