Democrats are Gruberized and they can’t brush it off or wash it off. “Gruberized” is the newest verb/adjective in the lexicon and the Democrat Party, the whole party, has been Gruberized. President Obama and every Democrat who touted and voted for the “Affordable” Care Act (ACA) is trying to run from the comments of Professor Jonathan Gruber by accusing the GOP of “fanning the flames” of his comments. No, quite the contrary.
Bright lights that bring FACTS out of the shadows are so troublesome … to congenital liars. This is now DemoCare, not Obamacare. Demo as in Democrat. The Dems — at least the ones in Congress now who voted for and pushed the ACA — own this. It’s at their feet as much as Obama’s. Gruber has made it clear that deceit and outright fraud lay behind the bill’s construction and we know the process was flawed (Pelosi: “have to pass it to find out what’s in it”). Maybe the Demo Congress was simply relying on Obama who clearly knew he was pushing a flawed idea and if so they need to go — all of them — for that reason. Or they were totally complicit with him. Either way, a total house-cleaning is needed.
If you haven’t been keeping up, among Gruber’s comments were that the voters are stupid, that if the individual mandate of the ACA looks like a tax it won’t pass (so we have to hide that), and that a lack of transparency is a political advantage. His past videos keep coming out and his nastiness, elitism and condescension keeping rolling in and the White House accuses the GOP of fanning the flames over nothing?
GOP fanning the flames? Hardly. New facts keep coming out.
A former adviser to President Obama revealed today that MIT professor Jonathan Gruber was an “important figure” within the White House when the administration was working to pass ObamaCare.
“I remember that when I was in the White House, he was certainly viewed as an important figure in helping to put ObamaCare together,” said Steve Rattner on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
Rattner, who served as an adviser to Obama on the auto industry bailouts in 2009, recalled that Gruber was “the man” when it came to health care economics.
Democrats are fully Gruberized although it may be more like being pregnant: you are or are not, and they are definitely Gruberized. View the text and the video in that link. Look at who was touting the ACA by quoting or relying on Gruber: then Sen. Obama, Sen. John Kerry, Sen. Harry Reid, Sen. Bob Casey (PA), Sen. Al Franken (MN). They are Gruberized individually and have put the “seal of approval” of the ACA which itself was Gruberized all over the Democrat Party.
I feel sorry for the White House spokesman, Josh Earnest, who has the unenviable and impossible task of convincing the country that the GOP is fanning the flames over nothing. It’s everything. Gruber has told us what we who were thinking about it at the time knew already: that you can’t cover more people at lesser cost simply by changing the payment system (as opposed to the fundamentals of the entire healthcare system) and that if you told the truth about the guts of the ACA, not only would the American people oppose it but it probably would not even pass.
Obama and the Dems bastardized our entire political and legislative process by fraud and deceit, have now been caught red-handed and still lie about what and how they did it.
Gruberized. I love that word and I love bright lights!
